The company manages the full project lifecycle — from design and manufacture through to installation and commissioning — serving sectors such as mining, power generation, industrial processing, agriculture, marine, poultry, commercial, and HVAC. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who values long-term career stability and wants to take ownership of projects from concept through to commissioning within a collaborative, growth-focused environment. What You’ll Do   You will take responsibility for ventilation and air handling projects from initial specification to final commissioning: * Interpret client specifications, tender documents, and technical requirements * Design and select appropriate ventilation, fan, and air handling systems * Prepare technical proposals, equipment schedules, and detailed costings * Engage with clients to clarify requirements and present technical solutions * Liaise with draughting, production, and installation teams to ensure practical, cost-effective designs * Provide commissioning support and technical troubleshooting when required * Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations * Attend site visits and client meetings as needed What You Bring * BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering * Proven experience in a mechanical engineering role * Experience in ventilation, HVAC, fan systems, or industrial air movement applications (advantageous) * Bilingual in English and Afrikaans   Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 48 hours.   Persona Staff (PTY) Ltd. is POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013) compliant.
